  2. VictorMelder library – This digital library contains a unique collection of books, journals and magazines on Sri Lanka.
  3. Noolaham – This website is a digital library dedicated to preserving and providing free access to a vast collection of literature and historical documents from Jaffna and Northern Sri Lanka, spanning from the 1600s to the 1980s. It contains many books, almanacs, and copies of one of Sri Lanka’s oldest new papers Ceylon Morning Star.
  4. National Digital Library and Repository – The collection contains journals, books, and government publications, such as government gazettes, which feature juror lists, land transactions, summaries of probate records, and voter rolls that may include your ancestors’ names.
  5. Jaffna Bishop’s House Collection – This collection contains diverse types of documents; handwritten, bound registers and account books; letters and correspondence; and printed books and paper clippings from Jaffna, covering the period 1775 – 1948.
  6. Ferguson’s Directories – Ferguson’s Directories of Ceylon are comprehensive historical directories that provide a wealth of information on the commercial, and professional aspects of Ceylon. It is an invaluable resource for Sri Lankan genealogy.
